Power at your discretion

The 200 series offers the private chef a determinedly efficient set of options. Most extractors provide high-powered illumination as well as recirculated or externally vented air flow and can be manually controlled or function on automatic; self-adjusting the fan speed depending on the vapour they detect. Their highly effective grease filters are easily removable and suitable for cleaning in the dishwasher. Every extractor is driven by a BLDC motor: efficient, quiet and most are integrated within the appliance, ensuring installation of the 200 series range involves considerably less planning.

Ceiling extractors

There are three options for ceiling extractors, free hanging lift hood, integrated or surface-mounted, all are Home Connect enabled and controllable via compatible cooktops, even automatically activated once the cooktop is turned on. The free hanging lift hood in Gaggenau Black can descend from the ceiling to provide more effective air recirculation and dimmable illumination. The quiet motor can be sensor controlled while the extractor’s height adjustment makes odour and grease filter changes simple.

Unseen extraction

The integrated extractor’s 120 cm visual presence is reduced as it sits flush with the ceiling. The expanse of brushed finished, Gaggenau Light Bronze is deceptively effective at removing vapour and odours.

Bring the extractor to the vapour

The easy installation of the 105 cm Gaggenau Light Bronze surface-mounted rim extractor is appealing. By blending into a multitude of kitchen styles and without the need for ducting, it offers an instant, exceptional recirculation solution.

Table ventilation 200 series

Discreet and unseen, the new table ventilation 200 series only emerges when required. Available in 80 cm and 90 cm, the transparent screen with ambient lighting is astonishingly effective and can be controlled via the compatible cooktops and even control itself via its air quality sensors.

Control the air

The table ventilation utilises Guided Air technology; additional air flow behind the screen that captures more vapour in front of the screen. This innovation increases the air extraction, from pans anywhere on the cooktop.

Valuable drawer space is saved and installation is simplified as only one cut-out is needed. When in re-circulation mode, we can guarantee the efficient removal of odours using activated charcoal filters. For maintenance, these and the dishwasher-safe grease filters, are easily removable from the top.

Island hoods

A bold, 90 cm statement, the island hood is a design classic. The perfectly proportioned glass and stainless steel hood houses dimmable lighting and, using Home Connect, is conveniently controllable via compatible cooktops. Set it to automatic and its sensors will control the fan, reacting to the vapour in the atmosphere.

Wall-mounted hoods

Two wall-mounted extractors, in very different styles, are available. Both are Home Connect enabled, 90 cm wide and suitable for air extraction or recirculation. The timeless stainless steel wall-mounted option offers a metal and Gaggenau Anthracite glass covered control panel. Dimmable lights, three power levels as well as an intensive and automatic mode can all be controlled via selected cooktops.

Sleek looks, quiet efficiency

The 90 cm angled glass options present the private chef with an imposing Gaggenau Anthracite front, complimenting the 200 series ovens and induction cooktops. The highly efficient and quiet motor, dimmable, ambient lighting and easy to clean glass front ensure the extractor doesn’t detract from your entertaining even as it is enabling your cooking.

A clever solution to ventilation when space is at a premium or for those who prefer not to see their extractors. Hidden in a cupboard above the cooktop, the 60 or 90 cm extractor’s glass panel can be extended to capture all that the cooktop produces. The dimmable lighting, three power levels plus an intensive option and an automatic setting are all at your disposal. Yet via an optional lowering mechanism, everything can be completely hidden from your view when not in use.
