“Each client’s unique lifestyle inspires us to create spaces for them that reflect their personal taste and exceed their expectations.”
With a trademark style that is characterized by a sophisticated use of color, texture and architectural details, McCroskey Interiors is renowned from coast-to-coast for their ability to seamlessly blend elements from different time periods and styles to create cohesive and harmonious spaces. Led by award-winning interior designers Laura McCroskey and Leann Lynn, the design duo draws their inspiration from European aesthetics, a love for natural elements like marble and wood and the graceful use of light and space, creating interiors that are elegant, refined, contemporary and timeless.
The Art of Living Well
“Kitchens are our favorite room of the house, period.”
That passion is evident in every kitchen the pair designs. Their projects often feature Gaggenau not merely for its functionality, but for its ability to integrate seamlessly into elegant designs that challenge the conventional boundaries of traditional and modern spaces. “It doesn’t matter what the style is,” says Lynn. “It doesn’t matter what the project looks like, Gaggenau always looks good.”
McCroskey’s enthusiasm for Gaggenau is spurred by her own experience with the brand in her home kitchen. Among her favorite Gaggenau appliances, the steam oven stands out for its versatility and ease of use, emblematic of her passion for cooking, canning and her pursuit of excellence in kitchen design.
Small Space, Grand Impact: A Small Kitchen Transforms into an Entertainer’s Dream
This McCroskey Interiors designed home is in the Kansas City neighborhood of Brookside, a community rich in architectural history and one of the region’s most sought-after zip codes. The tree-lined streets are filled with a unique blend of Classic American Tudors, Colonial Revivals and Craftsman Bungalows. Keeping true to the traditional feel of the neighborhood and the French homeowner’s love of “pretty details”, a once cramped and tiny kitchen is now open and inviting – a haven for entertaining that features several Gaggenau appliances, including McCroskey’s beloved steam oven.
One of the duo’s most innovative storage solutions in this space is a sliding marble backsplash. Strategically placed behind the 36” Gaggenau induction cooktop, two large marble slabs keep serving utensils, dishes and frequently used ingredients easily accessible for cooking, yet concealed when not in use.

McCroskey Interiors’ dedication to their clients and passion for creating functional and breathtakingly beautiful spaces is evident in every project they design, many of which have been featured prominently in Luxury Portfolio, Luxe Interiors + Design and Traditional Home. The team was also selected to design the kitchen for House Beautiful’s Whole Home project in 2023, a 13,000-square-foot David Adler estate outside Chicago.
As McCroskey Interiors continues to explore new horizons in interior design, their journey is a testament to the deep connection people have with their homes, where every project is a narrative of beauty, innovation and an enduring love for the art of living well.
