The Art of Living Well

“Kitchens are our favorite room of the house, period.”

That passion is evident in every kitchen the pair designs. Their projects often feature Gaggenau not merely for its functionality, but for its ability to integrate seamlessly into elegant designs that challenge the conventional boundaries of traditional and modern spaces. “It doesn’t matter what the style is,” says Lynn. “It doesn’t matter what the project looks like, Gaggenau always looks good.”

McCroskey’s enthusiasm for Gaggenau is spurred by her own experience with the brand in her home kitchen. Among her favorite Gaggenau appliances, the steam oven stands out for its versatility and ease of use, emblematic of her passion for cooking, canning and her pursuit of excellence in kitchen design.

Small Space, Grand Impact: A Small Kitchen Transforms into an Entertainer’s Dream

This McCroskey Interiors designed home is in the Kansas City neighborhood of Brookside, a community rich in architectural history and one of the region’s most sought-after zip codes. The tree-lined streets are filled with a unique blend of Classic American Tudors, Colonial Revivals and Craftsman Bungalows. Keeping true to the traditional feel of the neighborhood and the French homeowner’s love of “pretty details”, a once cramped and tiny kitchen is now open and inviting – a haven for entertaining that features several Gaggenau appliances, including McCroskey’s beloved steam oven.

One of the duo’s most innovative storage solutions in this space is a sliding marble backsplash. Strategically placed behind the 36” Gaggenau induction cooktop, two large marble slabs keep serving utensils, dishes and frequently used ingredients easily accessible for cooking, yet concealed when not in use.
